Imagine needing to develop a cutting-edge web app for your users but facing the daunting task of issuing precise specifications. This was our customer’s challenge.

Together, we crafted a detailed project roadmap. This foundational work empowered our customer to confidently launch the project, setting the stage for a successful, on-time, and on-budget development journey.

Addressing the Challenges in Autonomous Web App Creation

The customer’s ambition is to develop a web app that will enable competitors to become autonomous in their registration process.

Given its status, the customer needs to issue an RFP to select a service provider to develop this app. The strategic aspect and potential business complexity of the project mean that a precise specification and an initial scoping of the effort required must be drawn up before issuing an official RFP.

Setting the Stage for a Successful Web App Development

Our Scoping solution enables to draw up a “roadmap” for an application or system. Three actors are involved in this elaboration:

  • A UX/UI expert, who proposes a functional solution and lists the user paths
  • A Solution Architect, who draws up a technical solution and estimates the effort required to implement it
  • A Program Manager, who establishes a project team and schedule

At the end of this scoping, the customer can decide whether to launch the project directly with our team or to draw up an RFP based on the elements provided.

How Our Scoping Solution Drives Project Success

This solution enables our customers to benefit from the expertise of our technical and functional coworkers in the creation of their digital products. We transform an application idea into a detailed project thanks to the following elements produced during our service:

  • Functionality backlog
  • An application navigation plan
  • A list of non-functional requirements (authentication, performance, data volume, geo-replication, etc.)
  • A technical diagram of the solution
  • An estimate of operating and implementation costs
  • A proposed team and development schedule.

Given that 16% of IT projects succeed in staying on budget and on time, good preparation such as the one proposed here is essential for a successful start.

For the past decade, fintechs scaled fast by renting capability - cloud infrastructure, engineering talent, and core systems. It worked. Until it didn’t. The regulatory environment of 2026 has fundamentally closed that window. With the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) now in full force and the EU AI Act raising the bar on AI transparency, the "our vendor handles that" defense is no longer viable. Regulators don't accept it. Auditors don't accept it. And increasingly, your board shouldn't either.

yberattacks often begin long before a suspicious login, ransomware note, or phishing email reaches the organization. The starting point may already be outside the company’s control: an employee email, password, session token, or device record circulating through breach dumps, criminal forums, Telegram channels, or infostealer logs...

Most engineering leaders searching for offshore delivery options start with the same term: offshore development center. It is the right instinct. But the organizations that scale fastest, protect their IP most effectively, and reduce vendor dependency over time tend to take the model further. Understanding what is an offshore development center is the starting point. Understanding why the […]
