Padel, this racket sport related to tennis, attracts a large number of people in France. In this context, the French Tennis Federation (FFT) and Premier Padel, organized in July 2022, the first tournament of the Major category in Europe: the Greenweez Paris Premier Padel Major, won by Juan Lebron and Ale Galan.
Developing a Real-Time Padel Web Application
For this unique event, and as part of our technological partnership with the tournament, we were brought to collaborate on the development of the first web application. Through this Greenweez Paris Premier Padel Major‘s digital experience, the French Tennis Federation wanted to promote the competition and allow padel fans to follow the tournaments in real-time.
A Step-by-Step Approach to Building the Web Application
To build the Greenweez Paris Premier Padel Major’s web application, we broke down the project into several key steps:
- Requirements definition: design of mock-ups and interfaces with the objective of offering the best user experience.
- Scoping: framing and defining the scope of the web application in a collaborative way with the FFT teams.
- Development of functionalities and interfaces with the Prismic CMS so that the French Tennis Federation teams can manage content.
- Testing and feedback: in an agile framework, the functionalities are tested by the FTF’s teams and then updated based on their feedback.

This brand new digital experience has several benefits for the tournament:

About « Paris Premier Padel Major »
Supported by the professional players of the Professional Padel Association and organized under the governance of the International Padel Federation, this is the first Major tournament to be announced in Europe and the second Major to be announced as part of the official Premier Padel Tour. The Major offers players and spectators a premium experience of a spectacular professional sport, all played at the historic Roland Garros Stadium.
