OSAN Drinks is a non-alcoholic, plant-based beverage brand founded by Belgian two-Michelin-starred chef Sang Hoon Degeimbre. Created for the world of fine dining, OSAN offers an elevated alternative to wine that mirrors its complexity, elegance, and ability to complement gourmet dishes—without the alcohol.

To grow their brand beyond restaurants and into the hands of conscious consumers across Europe, OSAN needed to transform its digital presence. Their previous website lacked scalability, performance insights, and the kind of premium experience that would do justice to the product. The goal: build an e-commerce platform that could translate their unique culinary positioning into a powerful, conversion-oriented digital journey.

Challenges

OSAN approached us to lead the migration from Wix to Shopify. But this was more than a technical transition. It was an opportunity to build a user-centric, data-driven platform that could grow with the brand and support performance marketing at scale. From UX and UI design to development and campaign readiness, we brought together the right mix of capabilities to support OSAN’s ambition.

Our Approach

The project began with a co-creation workshop bringing together OSAN’s founders and our team of designers, developers, and growth marketers. We defined user personas based on customer insights and brand goals, mapped user journeys, and assessed opportunities for storytelling and conversion.

Design rooted in empathy and brand consistency

We built the entire experience around real-world use cases, refining the information architecture for intuitive navigation while also reinforcing OSAN’s brand DNA. This meant balancing editorial storytelling with conversion-driven UX. We integrated elements like testimonials, FAQs, and subtle visual cues inspired by natural textures and sun reflections. Every choice—from typography to photography—was made to express the elegance and conviviality of the OSAN product experience.

Fast, flexible Shopify implementation

Rather than building from scratch, we selected a Shopify theme that matched OSAN’s needs and allowed for rapid customization. Our developers focused on optimizing loading speed, simplifying the checkout journey, and ensuring mobile responsiveness without compromising aesthetics. The result was a platform that delivers both performance and flexibility, ready to support OSAN’s future campaigns and product evolutions.

Marketing-ready from day one

Our growth marketing team helped structure the platform to perform across channels. We embedded promotional features like a top bar for announcements and a pop-up for newsletter sign-ups. Analytics tools were integrated to track behavior and conversions. We also developed campaign-ready assets and strategies for email marketing, Google Ads, and Meta Ads—ensuring that traffic would convert.

What We Delivered

The final product was a scalable, conversion-oriented e-commerce platform built on Shopify. It featured:

  • A redesigned UX/UI aligned with OSAN’s culinary and brand identity
  • Streamlined navigation and responsive layouts
  • Built-in marketing features and performance tracking
  • Knowledge sharing with OSAN’s team to ensure autonomy post-launch

The Results

The results speak for themselves. In the first two months following launch, OSAN achieved a 673% increase in sales. The average return on ad spend (ROAS) across platforms reached 2.95, while the retargeting campaigns alone reached 6.83 ROAS—a strong indicator of how well the website supported conversion. Email campaigns reached an average open rate of 47.3%, and paid ads delivered competitive costs per click: €0.15 on Meta and €0.71 on Google.

These early wins confirm the strength of an integrated approach—one that connects technology, storytelling, and marketing strategy.

Why It Matters

This project reflects our belief that great digital products start with a deep understanding of the brand and user. By combining expert design, robust development, and marketing foresight, we helped OSAN turn a high-end culinary product into a high-performing e-commerce experience. It is a model for how we partner with premium brands to scale their digital impact.
